Petit Bijou our 3 bedroom Gite

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here over the May half term. The gite was comfortable and lovely, but it was the garden that will really stay with us - a beautiful, large, rolling garden with the sound of the wind in the mature trees. The pool was a hit with our kids of course, and they loved being able to walk just one minute up the road for fresh bread and croissants. Alison and Jason were so welcoming and great with our kids, who enjoyed feeding the chickens and searching from crayfish in the giant pond. We enjoyed the local area too, from eating out at Le Square in nearby Aigre, to a longer drive to Chauvigny's medieval city and bird of prey show. In all this was such a memorable trip in a beautiful village, and we will certainly hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay, Alison and Jason were very accommodating, they helped with places to visit, booking restaurants, vet visits for our 2 dogs vaccines before our trip home) nothing was too much trouble ❤️ this holiday will go down as the most relaxed and warmest break ever x Thank you both x your home is a beautiful place x

Late May 2022. - We actually stayed in the B&B again and it was so good to be back after a Covid enforced absence!

Everything was just perfect & please see our previous review for all the info. The accommodation is just as described and Ali & Jason have even installed a new Jacuzzi adjacent to the lovely pool for the new summer season! 👍

If you want a relaxing time in the beautiful French countryside, but still have plenty of options for things to do or visit, then this is perfect!

We’ve had a great visit again with just fantastic hosts, real French authenticity and we know we’ll be back!
